In a fun follow-up to 2024’s ‘Inside the Hive’ AOC, we are heading back to Windy Acres Farm with farm owner and beekeeper Alicia Vohland. Join Alicia on World Bee Day as she conducts a virtual honey harvest, showing you the inner workings of a beehive and the honey extraction process. Windy Acres Farm is located in Toowoomba, Queensland and so Alicia will walk us through how to she prepares the hives for a cold winters with freezing temperatures and less forage available. Join us for another educational insight into the wonderful world of bees.
