In recognition of World Mental Health Day, join us for a special online event designed to address eco-anxiety and promote mental wellbeing. As environmental concerns grow, many people experience anxiety about the future of our planet. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by eco-anxiety, this event offers practical tools and grounding practices to help you find calm and resilience.

The session will be led by Clinical Psychologist and Holistic Healer, Alisha Weston, who will share her expertise on the psychological and physical impacts of anxiety. Alisha will discuss how anxiety can affect the body and mind, offering valuable insights into the emotional challenges of living in an environmentally uncertain world. You’ll participate in techniques such as deep breathing, mindfulness exercises, and a guided meditation led by Alisha, providing you with practical tools to manage anxiety and foster emotional resilience.

The #actsofconnection series includes live webinars, shared learning opportunities, competitions and networking events aimed at connecting a community of passionate individuals who want to learn more about sustainability.

Accessible to all staff and students of ACTS Members, the series helps individuals:

     – Increase their sustainability literacy,

     – Connect with a supportive community of likeminded people, and

     – Learn simple yet effective ways to help build a better future!
