This session is hosted by Monash University, as part of their Planetary Health series; exploring the inextricable links between human health and the health of our planet.
Join Yorta Yorta/Boon Wurrung and an Indigenous community engagement leader Josef Tye as he discusses the balanced customary and contemporary approaches to interactions with the land that have sustained First Nations Peoples for 60,000+ years, as well as the erroneous European land management practices in Australia that have led to land and water degradation, and is contributing to the global issue of anthropogenic climate change.
