Each year ACTS hosts an annual conference bringing people together in the tertiary and vocational higher education sector to share knowledge and expertise in the field of environmental management.
10th International ACTS Conference

Australasian Campuses Towards Sustainability Inc (ACTS Inc) was established to enable Australian and New Zealand universities, TAFE’s and polytechnics to share knowledge and expertise in the field of campus environmental management and education for sustainability development.
Each year ACTS hosts a conference to bring together sustainability experts and learners to share knowledge and learnings to enhance our sustainability performance. The 2010 ACTS Conference will be held in Melbourne, between 29 September and 1 October. This year’s host institutions are the University of Melbourne, RMIT and Victoria University.
With a panel of international and national keynote speakers, the conference will bring together environmental managers, academics and student’s who will present over 20 papers on a wide variety of topics on both campus sustainability and education for sustainability.
For the first time this year ACTS will join with the Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC) to launch the Green Gown Awards at the conference. The EAUC is the sustainability champion for universities and colleges in the UK.
