The conference themes for the 9th International Conference of Australasian Campuses Toward’s Sustainability (ACTS Inc.) have been announced.

The three broad, interconnected themes proposed are:

1. Carbon Reduction and Accounting
2. Educating for a Green Skilled workforce
3. Water Conservation

There will also be a fourth theme at this years conference which will focus on ACTS itself. The time has come for the tertiary and vocational education institutions to make their mark with regards to the sustainability of society. This can be done through building the force and reputation of ACTS as an organisation. As such, there will be workshops which will develop an ACTS charter, decide the focus for ACTS, and how to progress to achieve the ACTS focus. The conference provides an ideal setting for members to discuss these important issues.
